Bia Blasta Home Catering is owned by Bernie Cassells & Pat Dalton. We started the company in late 2007 as we felt that the market for home catering was growing. That market has continued to grow and with it our business. Bia Blasta has become hugely popular as a home catering provider throughout the south east. We have a large number of repeat customers who readily recommend us to friends and family who may wish to have catering provided at their homes. .
Our vision for the future is to expand Bia Blasta’s profile as a catering company. We remain dedicated to the provision of excellent food, customer service and welcome all challenges, large or small. Through excellent food & service we have increased the Family Event business to include Baptisms, Communions, Confirmation, and Funerals etc. Our Golf Club Members now use Gowran Park on a regular basis for their Family occasions.

Bernadette trained as a Hotel Manager at Athlone Institute of Technology. She worked for 12 years in Kerry, was General Manager of the Killarney Heights Hotel & Food & Beverage Manager at The Gleneagle Hotel. Since coming to Carlow in 2004 Bernadette worked for 3 years as manager of the Fox & Goose Pub & Restaurant, Dublin Road, Kilkenny.
Pat trained & worked as a chef in Germany for 13 years. Until October 2008 he was employed by Compass Eurest as Head Chef at Carlow Institute of Technology. Prior to this Pat worked as Banqueting Chef at Ballykealy Manor, Ballon, Co. Carlow.
